What’s a Titch?

It’s a British word for something small — a little bit, a tiny amount, or sometimes even a small person. Which, as it turns out, fits us rather well.

About Us

Just a Titch is a small Canadian business run by a mum-and-daughter team who like making things, finding fun little products, and spending time creating together.

It started as a hobby. We learned how to make photo magnets, experimented with different ideas, and gradually started creating a collection of small, useful, funny and giftable things that we genuinely liked ourselves.

So why Just a Titch?

There are a few reasons.

We’re both on the shorter side, so there’s that.

More importantly, Titch was a childhood nickname given to the mum half of this team when she was a little girl. The nickname was given to her by her own mum, which makes the name especially meaningful to us.

And it also happens to describe the kinds of things we love: small items that can add a little personality, humour or happiness to an ordinary day.

That might be a favourite photo turned into a magnet, a funny little gift for a friend, a magnetic bookmark, or simply something that makes you smile when you see it.

We make many of our products ourselves and choose the others because they fit what Just a Titch is all about: small delightful things.
